Avanca Beats Fundraising Goals

For the past decade, crowdsourcing and crowdfunding has continued to be one of the most effective ways to raise capital for a variety of purposes. While this has often been used by companies to invest or build new products, it can also be used to raise money for a good cause. In recent weeks, one organization that is looking to good in the world was able to raise a significant amount of capital.

In recent weeks, Avanca announced that it has invested in a new campaign and has drastically beaten its goal. Through the use of the Indiegogo platform, the company was able to receive the money it needed to better produce its Ockel Sirius B pocket PC. The Ockel Sirius B pocket PC was wildly popular with consumers that were able to review the marketing material on the website.

When Avanca first announced its new product, the company had set a goal of raising around $10,000 in the first 30 days. Since all of this money needed to be raised in order to keep any of it, making this goal was determined to be very important. While these funds are never a sure thing, it appeared from day one that the company would be successful. After being launched for only 30 days, the crowdfunding attempt proved to be a good idea as the company was able to rase over $450,000.

This broke a number of different records for the company and the platform. Now that they were able to raise this much capital, Avanca will be taking other steps to determined how it exactly will be used. Some of the options will include looking to market it more as well as finding ways to further improve and enhance the product to make it more functional and applicable in the world today.
