Black bleached scalp. Is there skin cancer? Black species?
Q: She’s in her mid-20s. I dried my hair with a towel after washing it last night, and there was a small amount of blood on it. I looked straight through the mirror at my head. There was a black spot on the top of the head. No pain.
Internet search found that the spots on my head looked like skin cancer and melanoma. Should I go to the hospital and get treatment quickly?
A: If an ulcer, bleeding, or scab has been observed in the spots, you may suspect skin cancer, but you need to visit the hospital for a skin biopsy to make sure you can diagnose it.
Don’t irritate the spots, and please visit your nearest dermatologist as soon as possible for a biopsy.
